The right ticket. The right kind of link.

Claiming a ticket, bringing a pass, transferring a place and checking a listing are different jobs. Here’s how to make each handoff clear.

Start with the current ticket.

Organizers can find the guest in the event’s ticket list; attendees can open their own ticket in their account. Check the event, recipient, admission type and current status before sharing anything.

A contact record, form response or waitlist entry is not a ticket. Confirm that admission has actually been issued. An unfinished paid checkout is not proof of purchase, and an event returned to draft pauses new issue and check-in.

A claim link is for the recorded recipient.

For an eligible team-issued ticket, create a claim link in the attendee handoff panel. The recorded recipient signs in with that verified email and two-step verification to collect it. Share the link privately through your own channel; it expires after seven days and can be replaced or revoked. Send this handoff instead of an organizer workspace link.

Choose what the guest will bring.

The pass includes event details, the attendee, admission type, status, and QR and text codes. Use the format that suits your guest and your delivery channel.

A printed pass

Select Print or save PDF, choose your printer, and check the preview before printing. Give the individual pass to the guest.

A saved PDF

Use the same print action and choose your browser’s PDF destination, where available. Open the saved file to check it, then attach it to your own message.

The ticket code

Use Copy ticket code and paste the full code into your message. If clipboard copying is unavailable, select the code and copy it manually. Include the event details alongside it.

A wallet pass, when available

Open the owned ticket and use its Apple or Google Wallet option if shown. Availability depends on the event’s configured issuer and device. Saving a wallet pass does not make entrance check-in work offline.

A saved, printed or wallet pass can become outdated. The entrance checks current status online. After a transfer or reissue, remove the old pass and open the current ticket; saved wallet passes do not automatically update.

Send more than an attachment.

Give the guest the arrival details and a person to contact. Adapt the message for a private claim link or an admission pass, then copy it into your own email or messaging tool. A listing-verification code does not belong in the admission-code slot.

Replace the bracketed text. Edits stay on this page and are not saved or sent by Turnstile; keep a copy before leaving.

A final check before you send.

Use this as you prepare each handoff. Checkmarks are for this page only and are not saved.

Pass-sharing checklist

Send each guest their own ticket. Sharing the same code with several people does not create additional admissions.

When someone’s plans change.

For an eligible transfer, the owner chooses a specific recipient and shares the private transfer link. The recipient completes the required account checks to accept. A completed transfer changes ownership and replaces the old admission credential; editing or forwarding a PDF does not transfer a ticket.

An organizer can cancel an eligible unused free ticket. For a paid order, use the available refund-request flow and the event’s policy; requests are reviewed case by case, and used or transferred tickets need additional handling. An approval is not a settled refund. Automatic upgrades are not included.

Let someone check a listing without giving them admission.

Use the separate listing-verification feature for an eligible ticket. Its time-limited code lets someone check limited current facts in the verification portal. Share that code for a status check; keep the admission code and private claim or transfer link out of a public listing.

A status check is not a purchase guarantee.

A verification result does not identify the seller, reserve the ticket, protect an outside payment or complete a transfer. Status can change after the check. Receive an eligible transfer through your own account before treating the ticket as yours.

Read the draft ticket policy

If a guest arrives without their pass.

The entrance team can search the event’s ticket list by name or email, confirm the ticket and status, and retrieve its code. A person record alone does not confirm admission; ask the organizer if no ticket exists.

Scan or enter the admission code in the correct published event. A compatible phone camera needs HTTPS and permission; typing, pasting and text-entry scanners are also supported. Check-in needs internet and records a single admission. A repeat code does not add another arrival.
