Their place is just the beginning.
Let people register, welcome invited guests, and keep every ticket connected through changes of plan and arrival at the door.
Open the right way in.
A public registration page. A guest list prepared by your team. A paid workshop with limited places. Set up admission around how your event works.
- Choose your admission types
- Create clear ticket names and descriptions. Offer free admission, or use configured Stripe Connect payments for paid ticket types.
- Make capacity part of the plan
- Set ticket-type capacity, manage places across orders, and use waitlists when an eligible type fills up. Groups and packages keep related tickets organized.
- Let people register, or issue a pass
- Enable registration for selected ticket types, or issue admission to named guests. Publishing the event and opening public registration are separate choices.
Give them a ticket they can come back to.
Attendees keep their owned tickets in their account. Each pass brings together the event, admission type, current status, and the code they need at the door.
Connect the ticket to its recipient
Self-registration creates account-owned tickets. For an eligible team-issued pass, share a private claim link with the recorded recipient.
Bring the pass that suits them
Use the account ticket, print a pass, or save a PDF. Apple and Google Wallet options appear when the event’s issuer setup is configured.
Make the handoff personal
Share claim links or prepared passes through your own channels, with arrival details and a person to contact. Turnstile does not automatically email tickets.
Keep the ticket current when plans change.
Find the ticket by name, email, or code, then check its current status. Account ownership, orders, transfers, and refund review keep a change of plan connected to the event.
A way to check the ticket. Without sharing the way in.
Someone checking a listing should not need your admission code. A separate, time-limited verification code lets them check limited current ticket facts.
The practical details.
Can we sell tickets or take payments?
Yes. Paid registration uses Stripe Checkout with the organizer’s own connected account after onboarding and payment setup. Free admission works without it. Discounts, reserved seating and automatic ticket upgrades are not included.
Do guests get an email or public ticket link?
Your team can print a pass or create a claim link for the recorded recipient. The recipient signs in with that verified email and two-step verification to collect the ticket. Claim links expire after seven days and can be replaced or revoked. Your team shares the link; automatic ticket emails are not currently sent.
What happens when a ticket type fills up?
Use the available waitlist workflow for an eligible ticket type. A waitlist place is not admission; attendees check offers and their expiry in their account. Offers are in-app, with no automatic waitlist email.
Can guests register themselves?
Yes. Enable public registration for selected ticket types; paid types additionally need payment setup. Attendees use a verified Turnstile account with two-step verification to register and manage their tickets. Their account does not grant access to your workspace.
