These terms apply when presented and accepted for your account or an identified service. Publishing this version does not record your acceptance.
Who these terms cover
Doorstop, Inc. provides Turnstile. These terms address individuals using personal accounts, profiles, attendee features, form submissions, and agreement-recipient access. An Organizer is the organization offering the relevant event, form, or agreement. A User is the person using their own authorized account.
The Customer Agreement applies to a business subscription only when separately executed by an authorized representative. It does not bind an attendee to the organization’s subscription fees. Event-specific terms identified before confirmation apply to the event purchase, subject to mandatory law; neither an event policy nor a subscription agreement removes nonwaivable consumer rights.
Account creation is distinct from an event purchase, organization invitation, profile publication, or electronic signature. Each action requires its own supported authorization; completing one does not grant authority to perform another.
These terms apply when they are presented to you and you accept them for your account or an identified service. Publication of this version does not record your acceptance, change an earlier purchase, or replace an agreement you already accepted. Where a separate agreement governs a particular transaction, that agreement controls that transaction, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Your account and permitted access
You must have the legal capacity and authority required to use the service and accept the applicable terms. Use accurate information and act only for yourself or someone you are authorized to represent. An adult or organizer may arrange attendance for a minor where the event permits it; this does not create a child-account or guardian-account service.
Protect your password, authenticators, passkeys, recovery methods, and private ticket links. Protected features require email verification, multi-factor authentication, and the appropriate permissions. Accepting an invitation gives only the access it identifies; it does not give general access to an organizer’s records or related organizations.
Contact legal@turnstileos.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access. Do not share passwords or recovery codes with support. We may verify your relationship to an account before disclosing information or changing access.
Information you choose to provide
You retain your rights in the information and content you provide. You grant Turnstile a limited right to store, reproduce, process, and display that content only as needed to deliver requested features, protect the service, support lawful instructions, and meet applicable obligations. You must have the rights necessary to submit it. This permission does not assign ownership or authorize sale of private content or unrelated model training.
Personal profiles are private until you deliberately publish selected fields. Anyone with a public profile link may view or save its published contents. Unpublishing or rotating a link changes subsequent Turnstile access, but cannot retract copies already saved elsewhere. Editing a private draft does not automatically change an existing publication.
Events, tickets, and independent services
The organizer is responsible for its event description, admission conditions, delivery, and applicable cancellation or refund policy. Turnstile provides event and ticketing tools; it is not a promise that an event will occur or that an organizer will perform every obligation.
A verification result reports the ticket information and status available at the time of the check. It does not establish the seller's identity, authorize an outside sale, guarantee payment protection, or reserve the ticket against later transfer or cancellation. Use the supported transfer flow and review the event's current terms.
Optional payment, wallet, address, avatar, and signing services have their own applicable terms and privacy practices. Availability depends on the organizer's configuration and the feature you choose.
Forms and agreements sent to you
A form or agreement belongs to the organization identified in that request. Review its questions, purpose, terms and applicable privacy notice before submitting or signing. A submitted form is not automatically a ticket, a booking confirmation or consent to unrelated marketing.
Account verification or an invitation does not establish legal signing authority. Read the exact agreement and the Electronic Records and Signatures disclosure for the transaction. Opening a document is not your signature, and signing one agreement is not consent to future agreements.
Responsible use and service protection
Follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Do not access another customer's information, misuse admission credentials, fabricate safety reports, or interfere with the service. Turnstile may investigate misuse and restrict affected access when reasonably necessary to protect people, data, or service operation, subject to applicable law and any executed agreement.
A payment dispute is not, by itself, a permanent account ban. Requesting a lawful refund, reporting a concern, or exercising a legal right does not waive that right. Available review and appeal processes depend on the issue being considered.
Ending access and keeping records
You may sign out, manage available security settings, revoke supported sharing choices, and contact Turnstile about ending account use. Unpublishing a profile or leaving an organization does not cancel an event purchase or destroy the organizer’s independently held records.
Requests for access, correction, export, or erasure are handled under the Privacy Notice and applicable law. Necessary purchase, agreement, security, and audit records may require a separate retention review. A technical retention restriction is not permission to keep information indefinitely.
Legal rights, changes, and contact
Delaware law governs these terms, without its conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable law gives you protections that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory consumer remedy, a right to complain to a regulator, or a right to bring a claim in a court that applicable law makes available to you. These terms do not require arbitration or waive class proceedings.
We identify each published version by its date. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the service or the contact details associated with your account before they apply to your ongoing use, and we will seek renewed acceptance where required. Changes do not retrospectively alter an existing ticket purchase or signed agreement. If you do not agree to a change, stop the affected use and contact us about closing access and retaining records.
