Effective September 11, 2026. Your order also identifies the organizer’s applicable event policy and purchase terms.
Before you register or pay
Check the organizer's identity, event dates and timezone, venue, admission conditions, ticket price, fees and refund policy before confirming. The organizer runs the event and sets its event-specific terms, subject to applicable law. Turnstile supplies the registration and ticketing tools.
Free registration, an organizer-issued ticket and a paid order are different ways to receive admission. A waitlist place or a form response is not itself a confirmed ticket. For enabled paid events, Stripe Checkout collects payment through the organizer's connected account; follow the confirmed order outcome rather than assuming an open checkout means a ticket has been issued.
The purchase review identifies the organizer and its published event policy where one applies. Read the event terms before confirming. An organizer’s business subscription is separate from your purchase. A policy page does not add an acknowledgment to an order you already placed or prove that you accepted terms that were not presented to you.
Price, confirmation and purchase mistakes
The advertised ticket total must include mandatory fees and other unavoidable charges. The final payment amount, including any lawfully separate tax or optional item you chose, must be clear before you pay. Optional items require your choice. A Turnstile platform fee charged to the organizer is included in the organizer’s economics; it is not an extra buyer surcharge added after the advertised total.
After an interruption or payment error, check your account order status before starting another purchase. A pending card authorization is not proof that a ticket was issued. Contact the organizer about a missing confirmation, apparent duplicate charge, incorrect price or wrong order; do not publish payment or admission secrets when asking for help.
Advertised purchase limits and capacity still apply. They do not permit hidden price changes or remove remedies for an incorrectly issued order. Exchanges, upgrades, travel reimbursement, insurance and protection for outside resale payments are not automatically included with a Turnstile ticket.
Your purchase record
When you confirm a new order, Turnstile retains the reviewed details, the applicable published organizer policy, the time of confirmation, and limited authentication evidence. View the available record from your own order. A later policy revision does not rewrite that record.
A confirmed free order may explicitly record that the organizer had not published an event policy. An organizer-issued ticket or older order may have no recorded attendee acceptance. No receipt is created retroactively merely because you view an old order.
Confirmation records what you reviewed and agreed to; it does not by itself establish that payment settled, admission occurred, or a dispute has been decided. Check the order and ticket status for the outcome of those separate workflows.
Admission and event conditions
Review the event's stated admission type, schedule, location and relevant entry conditions, including any age or access requirements. Ask the organizer about accessibility or a condition that is unclear before purchasing. Applicable legal rights remain available if a disclosed or enforced condition is unlawful.
Keep your current pass available and follow the organizer's lawful entrance instructions. If a scan reports a problem, ask the entrance lead to check the ticket and current status. A successful listing-verification check, an email attachment or a place on a guest-contact list is not itself a new admission.
Keeping and using your ticket
Use your current account ticket or the pass provided through the supported flow. Keep admission codes and private claim or transfer links secure. A claim link connects an eligible ticket to its recorded recipient; it is not an unrestricted public ticket download or a permission grant to the organizer's workspace.
Admission depends on the ticket's current status and the event's entry conditions. A saved screenshot or wallet pass can become outdated after a transfer, cancellation or other status change. Current check-in is online and records a single admission; a previously checked-in ticket does not provide a fresh admission on another device.
Cancellation, postponement and refund requests
Contact the organizer about an event cancellation, postponement, rescheduling or a change affecting admission. The event's disclosed policy and applicable law determine the available remedies. A nonrefundable label does not override mandatory remedies.
Where the ticket or order supports a refund request, you can submit it for review. Requests are generally considered case by case; a request or internal approval is not a settled refund. Used or transferred tickets and some order situations require additional review. Any rights provided by applicable law remain available despite those technical checks.
The event policy and applicable law determine which amounts are refundable. A request does not guarantee approval or a particular processing time. When an approved refund is processed, check its recorded status; your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available. An organizer’s processing costs do not remove your mandatory refund rights.
For a cancellation, postponement, venue move or material change, check the organizer's current notice for ticket validity, available remedies and request instructions. Do not assume that a postponed event is cancelled or that a changed date works for you. If the organizer is unreachable or the response does not address your concern, request platform review at legal@turnstileos.com. This route does not guarantee that Turnstile can issue a refund on the organizer's behalf.
Keep the policy and purchase information that applied when you booked. A later less favorable policy cannot simply erase existing rights. A request may raise cancellation, nonperformance, duplicate-payment or unauthorized-payment concerns rather than an ordinary change of mind; explain which issue applies.
Giving an eligible ticket to someone else
Use the supported recipient-bound transfer flow when the ticket is eligible. The named recipient must complete the required account and authentication steps. A completed transfer changes ownership and rotates the admission credential; forwarding an old pass does not complete that transfer.
Transfer restrictions and current ticket status still apply. Turnstile's transfer feature does not by itself create a resale marketplace, collect an outside resale payment, guarantee a buyer or seller, or approve a transaction prohibited by the organizer or applicable law.
Receiving a transferred ticket does not make you the original purchaser or redirect a refund of the original purchase to you. A used or transferred ticket may need individual handling by the organizer rather than the standard refund flow. Any separate payment between the sender and recipient is outside the original checkout and needs its own resolution.
Checking a ticket advertised elsewhere
A time-limited listing-verification code lets someone check limited current ticket facts without receiving an admission credential. The result reflects status at the time it is checked. It does not reserve the ticket, prevent a later transfer or cancellation, verify a seller's identity, or guarantee that an outside payment is protected.
A listing-verification code cannot admit you to the event or transfer ownership. Keep admission, claim and transfer secrets private. Use the supported account transfer to receive an eligible ticket; do not treat a screenshot or a previous successful check as proof that you own it.
Payment review, disputes and your rights
Some paid orders require additional review. A review does not establish that you committed fraud, and a chargeback does not automatically create a permanent account ban. Eligible platform safety cases provide an appeal process; an event refund or payment dispute may have a separate organizer or payment-provider process.
Nothing in this policy waives nonexcludable consumer protections or your right to raise a lawful payment dispute. Contact the organizer about event delivery and its refund policy; contact legal@turnstileos.com about Turnstile's role, an incorrect platform decision, or difficulty reaching the appropriate party.
This policy is effective September 11, 2026. Updates apply prospectively and do not reduce the rights attached to a prior purchase. The organizer policy and purchase terms retained for your order remain relevant to that order.
